Sisterhood works to build friendship and community for its members and for the congregation as a whole. Our programs include Judaic events, education events, social events and fun events. We have continued our commitment to Har Shalom by donating the beautiful stained glass in the Burke Sanctuary, donating major funds for the ECEC’s “greening” and by raising money to update the Har Shalom kitchen and replace major appliances as needed.

Our programs include a Paid Up Membership Dinner Event in the fall, Torah Fund Brunch, monthly Rosh Hodesh minyan followed by a thematic program, general meeting programs, Senior Bingo, Daytime Bookclub, Wednesday Bowling, Mah Jongg, Sisterhood Shabbat, Vashti's Banquet, joint programs with Men’s Club including theater night, brunch, and a social evening, Mind Body & Soul, and Volunteer Appreciation dinner in the spring, as well as Z’havah’s Reading Screening & Eating, Couples Night Out and Day of Pampering. Sisterhood continues to sponsor the Bikkur Holim Committee to visit and assist the ill. If you have any questions, please contact us at sisterhood@harshalom.org.
