Sisterhood works to build friendship and community for its members and for the congregation as a whole. Our programs include Judaic events, education events, social events and fun events. We have continued our commitment to Har Shalom by donating the beautiful stained glass in the Burke Sanctuary and by raising money to refurbish the Har Shalom kitchen. Our programs included tallit making, Rosh Hodesh celebrations, Second Thursday book and movie discussions, senior bingo, book club, bowling, mah jongg, Sisterhood Shabbat, a Sunday brunch with the Men’s Club, the new One Book / One Congregation program, Women’s Seder, entertainment book sales, speakers, and our Jewish health forum, Mind, Body & Soul.
