USY is a conservative Jewish youth group for High School students. USY stands for United Synagogue Youth,
founded in 1951. The kids participate in activities such as bowling, overnights, shabbatons and conventions
(where they go away for 3 days). Har Shalom is one chapter in the whole Seaboard region (MD, VA, NC and WV).
The participants make new friends while participating in activities that incorporate a Jewish meaning.
