Important Update From Congregation Har Shalom

Dear Har Shalom Family,

Out of an abundance of caution, and as we join with other institutions mitigating COVID-19, please take note of the following important updates.

ALL WORSHIP SERVICES ARE SUSPENDED AND THE BUILDING IS CLOSED. All key fobs and alarm codes have been disabled as well.

The lay, administrative, and clergy leadership of the congregation, with the approval of the Executive Committee, has decided that all worship services, including daily
Minyanim and Shabbat services, are suspended, effective immediately through at least Sunday March 22, 2020.  At that time, synagogue leadership will reassess the situation. This year's Congregational Seder is also cancelled. If you need help finding a place, please contact Leslie.

We will do all that we can to create an engaging “spiritual place in virtual space” to maintain and perhaps even strengthen our communal ties during this period. Please see below.

* Daily evening meditation from 7:30-8 pm, Monday to Thursday on Facebook live: “30 minutes of spiritual engagement based on the evening services. We’ll use chants, nigunim, and the traditional melodies to guide us in prayerful connections. Kadish and barechu will not be included."

* Friday Shabbat Melodies - starting at 6 pm, Friday: Sing along your favorite melodies from Shabbat evening service on Facebook Live.
