SUKKAH CITY x DC 
September 18-October 3, 2021 

Presented by the Capital Jewish Museum and National Building Museum in collaboration with Edlavitch DCJCC 
Sukkah City x DC features a public display of creative sukkahs, designed by notable architects, on view at the National Building Museum’s West Lawn and the Edlavitch DCJCC campus. Celebrating Sukkot, the inventive and whimsical designs are inspired by the theme ‘welcoming the stranger’ and explore social justice issues, the changing landscape, and the traditions of the holiday. Celebrate Sukkot with social action, holiday activities, and creative projects amid the outdoor installation of imaginative and inspiring sukkahs.
Presented in collaboration with DC Public Library, Edlavitch DC JCC, PJ Library, Project Create, Sixth & I and Yachad. Featuring visual artist, Jessica Valoris.
