Yom Yerushalayim is also known as the commemoration day of the Ethiopian Jews who died on their way to Israel because of the incredible connection the Ethiopian Jews have with Jerusalem, and we have the amazing opportunity to hear the story of Pnina Agenyahu (Senior Shlicha at the Jewish Federation) who made it all the way to Israel when she was 3 years old.

We will also watch a movie about an Ethiopian Jew who struggled his way to become an officer in the Israeli army after leaving Ethiopia as and child.
