Meet the Assistant Executive Director
Meet the Synagogue Administrator
Carly Litwok,
Synagogue Administrator
301-299-7087 ⋅ carly@harshalom.org
Carly Litwok joined our team in 2015. In just over a year she became integral to much of the synagogue’s programming and operations. For over three months Carly served as the Interim Director of the Sherman Early Childhood Center, maintaining a high level of professionalism as we searched for a permanent director. Parents, teachers, and children forged an immediate connection with her, as she kept the school on solid footing. As Director of Membership Engagement, Carly has been a warm, reliable contact for our current members in a variety of situations. In 2016, she was promoted to the position of Assistant Executive Director for Membership Engagement, with primary responsibility for membership recruitment and retention.
Carly works with the various committees to assist in planning and execution of their events. Carly continues to develop the relationship between Har Shalom and the greater Jewish Community through events such as Good Deeds Day and the Jewish Community Day at Nationals Park.
Carly graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Business and from Michigan State University with a M.A. in Education. Carly is a Bethesda native and was recently married to her husband, Daniel Litwok, who she met at Brandeis.
