Sisterhood

Sisterhood builds friendship, community, and Jewish connection for our members and the entire congregation. We host Judaic, educational, social, and fun events throughout the year, while raising funds through programs like our Mishloach Manot Purim Project and annual New To You Sale. We also contribute generously to the Women’s League Torah Fund Campaign, supporting the education of future Conservative Jewish leaders.
Sisterhood gives back in many ways—supporting our religious school, early childhood center, youth groups, and the congregation as a whole. In the spirit of spreading Jewish joy, we deliver Mishloach Manot to the Har Shalom staff, IDF soldiers, and local nursing home residents; provide gifts to every B’nai Mitzvah and Confirmation student, and provide treats to the religious school students at religious holidays. Our Bikkur Holim project works with the Hesed committee to prepare and provide meals to congregants who are ill or recovering from surgery.
Our mission is to promote and sustain Conservative/Masorti Judaism by modeling Jewish living and values. We invite you to join us and experience our programs, events, and outreach firsthand.

Sisterhood's Mishloach Manot fundraiser supports our ECC, Religious School, the Har Shalom Kitchen and so much more around our congregation.
Want to do more? Become a Purim Patron when you place your order, and your name will be featured on the scroll included in every Mishloach Manot gift bag.

Women’s League for Conservative Judaism (WLCJ) is the largest synagogue-based women’s organization in the world. As an active arm of the Conservative/Masorti movement, WLCJ provides service to hundreds of affiliated women’s groups in synagogues across North America and to thousands of women worldwide.
As active participants in WLCJ’s annual Torah Fund Campaign, our Sisterhood supports scholarships and programming at the five international Conservative Movement schools that are vital in developing tomorrow’s religious and lay leaders. Click HERE to learn more about the Torah Fund Campaign.
