Special Remarks from Adam Weissmann for Yom HaShoah

9:30 AMSince 2018, Adam Weissmann has served on the board of directors for 3GDC, the nonprofit organization representing grandchildren of Holocaust survivors in the Washington, DC, area, which organizes visits by trained speakers to local schools and other venues to share their grandparents' testimonies. Professionally, Adam works as speechwriter to the CEO of Ford Motor Company. He previously was the director of speechwriting for U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, speechwriter to U.S. Senators Chris Coons and Ted Kaufman, and Jewish Vote Coordinator for the Obama campaign in 2008. He grew up in White Plains, NY, and holds an undergraduate degree in Classics and Political Science from the University of Chicago and a master's in Political Science from Columbia University. Adam, his wife Rebecca Certner, and their two sons are members of Har Shalom and live in Silver Spring.
