Shabbat for Youth

We love having our youngest congregants for Shabbat services. We have three youth centered services at Har Shalom. Please join us for one or more of our youth programs.

Gan Shabbat
led by  Beth Hoch

3rd Shabbat of the Month
Cahan Sanctuary at 11:00 am

Singing, dancing, story-time and snack with Morah Beth and families with children five and under. Babies welcome! Gan Shabbat is a Shabbat program for preschool age children and their families to attend together. The service is uniquely designed to bring songs, stories and prayers together to create a welcoming, spirited, developmentally appropriate Shabbat service. It is an opportunity for the whole family to sing, learn Torah stories, and meet friends. Come for the fun and then join the main congregational service with your children, or drop them off for babysitting in the Quiet Room. All families are invited to stay for the congregational Kiddush luncheon after the main service ends around noon.
